Most Anticipated October Releases

1. Tempt The Stars by Karen Chance

Can’t wait for this. The series is one of my favourites, there’s always plenty of action, humour, and romance in each book. The characters are pretty great too - Cassie is fun, and Pritkin and Mircea are both entertaining love interests (especially Pritkin).

2. Allegiant by Veronica Roth

I liked Divergent a lot more than the second book - Insurgent annoyed me for various reasons (mainly Four/Tobias). I’m still excited to find out what happens with Tris and the gang. Most of all, I really want to know more behind the how and why of the factions.

3. Emerald Green by Kerstin Geir

I’m not a huge fan of time travel books, but I quite like the Ruby Red trilogy - the books are fun and entertaining. The only thing that annoys me about the series is the so called hero - his hot and cold attitude towards the heroine really grates on me. I’m hoping the heroine puts him in his place in this one.

4. Unsouled by Neal Shusterman

The premise of the series is rather disturbing, with kids having to give up their lives so that other people can have their organs. I’m curious to see how things play out in this one - I really want the kids who are in danger to fight back and win their rights.

5. Never Fade by Alexander Bracken

I wasn’t crazy about the first book (The Darkest Minds) but I kind of loved the cliffhanger ending. I can’t wait to find out what happens between Ruby and Liam.

6. Endless Knight by Kresley Cole

I gave Poison Princess 1 star because I found it nonsensical, and the romance was rather offensive.. But for some reason I’m desperate to find out what happens in the second book. Maybe its just one of those ‘it’s so bad it’s almost good’ books.
